This lies in the nether region between bug and feature……
I’ve noticed that the Mobile board does as expected, synchronizing it’s view layout between the iOS IPhone and Windows Native App.
However, because the two devices have different UI characteristics, it can be a bit non-intuitive. To wit….
On the iPhone app, the “document selection” widget is a ‘sliding window’ that covers the main UI.
On the Desktop Windows App (and other desktop OS apps) that same “document selection” widget is a dedicated pane in the main UI (I assume, because the desktop can display more screen real estate. This seems logical.
However, if you cause the desktop UI to show it’s Documents selector pane, then leave it displayed, the next time you open the iOS iPhone app, the Mobile Document Selector will be covering your UI.
It seems that it would be better if the synchronization of the “Document Selector” UI widget should be ignored between the desktop apps and the iOS (iPhone and iPad) apps for this reason.
