There are quite a few bug reports regarding issues with Expand/Collapse functions in Legend. Here are some suggestions for unity amongst these functions…..
While the ability to Expand/Collapse as a single button is definitely handy, perhaps it could continue to be a “Expand Collapse All in View”, and have a right-click option to match the Expand Collapse options in the Document Viewer when you right-click there.
That being said, the Right-click in the documents viewer could use some love….
It only appears when you right click on the top-level of the document.
would be nice to see more options (here, and in the main view), along the lines of:
Expand
-All
-All at this level; no children
-All at this level and their children
-This item and all its children
Collapse
-All
-All at this level; no children
-All at this level and their children
-This item and all its children
Perhaps these options could also appear in the right-click popup for items in the main view as well.
And of course, the ability to set these hotkeys in prefs is always greatly appreciated.
