It would be handy to have an icon/area somewhere in the Legend desktop app to which you could drag and drop an item for deletion, i.e. a Trashcan. It should be on the to, left or right (to avoid having to scroll up and down to find it).
Since there is already a trashcan in the Documents List, perhaps it could serve this purpose, allowing you to drag and item to it for deletion. Of course, there should be a preference setting for whether you would like a “Confirm Delete?” dialog every time you do this.
