I’m attempting to use the Legend Calendar for some things and I’ve dug through the docs but they’re a bit sparse.

Is there a method to delete all events in a Calendar (particularly, the local calendar?
Is there no way to delete a local calendar event from within the calendar?
What exactly, is “Repeat from Complete” when adding a dated event. I’m having trouble determining how this logic works? I’m hoping that this is similiar to the old Palm Pilot/DateBook pro feature called “Floating Events”. You make SINGLE event in your calendar, and it moved to the next day at midnight if you don’t check it. When you check it it stops and stays on that day, never showing more than a single event in the calender.

There’s no specific command, but you can build a Pane to do this, probably in more than one way. If you want to erase ALL items with dates, you only need to set a has:date filter, select all, delete. If you have a mix of local/synced events, try making an Agenda Pane and then picking the calendars for it to source from, which appear under the Option heading in the Filter definition dropdown. That option is only available in Agenda and Calendar Panes.
There really ought to be a “delete item” in the RMB menu, but there definitely isn’t. I don’t remember if it was always like this as I’ve gotten out of the habit of using Calendar Panes since my devices are all relatively small and calendar panes are tough to get good value out of at small sizes.
I believe this allows for items that come due, but aren’t actually done on the day they are due. There is no point sticking to the original schedule, so the repeaters are calculated based on the last completion date. For example, if you’re supposed to take out the trash every 3 days, but you’re 2 days late in actually doing it, there’s no point doing it again the very next day just because you were late last time. @LauraH has a lot of experience with the Calendar Pane and was, I believe, the origin of the “repeat from complete” option.

I don’t use the Calendar views so much. But I use the repeating dates often.

Yes, the “Repeat from complete” was my feature request.
It does work by only having ONE instance of the event visible at any time. But it does not move the event forward. Instead, once the item is due, it will add it to “today” and if the item is not marked done, it will move it to overdue. It will sit in overdue, with that past due date. Once you mark it complete, it will then become due on the interval from when you mark it done.
Unfortunately, Legend does NOT save the completed instances of repeating items. 🙁. So, that same item is the one that will move forward to the next date. (Making it so you cannot add notes to a specific instance for example, and cannot have a record of when the items were completed.).

I primarily use it for various household chores. I want to water house plants about every 7 days, but if I don’t water my plants until 10 days have passed, I want the NEXT time the task shows up to be 7 days after I mark it complete, not 7 days from what it was due.

Thanks to you both, that helps clarify things.
It sound like I’ll need my desire for a floating event that changes it’s date for every day it is not completed to be a new feature request.
