As I attempt to use Legend’s Calendar I’ve noticed a few issues/bugs….
UI/UX: In a calendar view, after selecting filter/select calendars/<selecting a calendar> clicking anywhere else in the calendar should hide the filter window. It does not unless you click outside the app or directly upon an event, and the filter dialog has no “close button”.
UI/UX: Is there no way, from within a local calendar, to delete a local event? Must you go into a document/list and delete it there?
-UI/UX: Is the color of the local calendar locked to Black?
-INCONSISTENCY: When single-clicking on a local calendar event, the information on that event pops up in a dialog. Its Calendar is shown as “None”. Shouldn’t that be “Local Calendar”. There are several instance in the app of saying “None” for the Calendar, when it really should be “Local (Legend Calendar”
-BUG: In monthly view, if the first of the month is on a Monday, and the calendar defaults to showing Monday as the first day of the week, the “Month/Year” display, i.e. “January 2024” appears over the top of the first event of that day, blocking most of the event from view.
- SUGGESTIONS:
Currently there seems no way to view an entire event title is it is longer than the day/block in monthly view. Single clicking an event shows some text, but it must then be scrolled on longer titles. I’d like to suggest that it would be handy to have a setting for calendars that allows one of the following:
- Options for truncating monthly view event names (as is currently done in the display)
- Word-wrap monthly view event names (so the entire event title can be read in a multi-line fashion)
- Display the event title when an event is hovered over.
- Display the event title and body/contents/info when an event is hovered over.
