Since the iOS version of Legend doesn’t have the ability to do Panes because it lacks the screen real estate, it’s difficult to visualize how something like that could be made simpler without a lot of typing as done in some organizers.
Some apps (I think workflowy or dynalist had this) allowed you to type in a path to copy into, i.e. /homestuff/outdoors/lawn/mowing/monthly/etc…….but I found that method more tedious than selecting/cutting/pasting. Navigating a hierarchical list of any size on a mobile app is always brutal for me.
Like I’m guessing that you do, I tend to additems to Legend quickly, then organize them once I get to a laptop or workstation where I have the screen space to work with some Panes.
There are discussions on this board requesting the ability to add custom ‘macro’ buttons to the screen, Perhaps Cut/Paste, and a new Selection Mode (by text or by item) could be done to make this type of operation faster on mobile. At the least, having a Cut/Copy/Paste button or menu item on screen while the keyboard is hidden would help with this…?
