Items no longer moveable between headings & expand isn't working

Hi everyone,
I noticed a while ago that my items with subtasks are no longer expandable. This wasn’t a major issue since I can still “zoom in” with ctrl + click but recently I’ve discovered another issue. I can no longer move items between headings by dragging them. The dragging animation still works but it doesn’t actually move when I end the drag move in another heading.

Is this a known issue or can someone help me resolve it?

Hi JLeischner, that should definitely not be happening. Can I just ask a few details to help track it down?

Is this on Mac or Windows? Is it in the app or which browser?
Which pane view mode are you in? Some of them grouped automatically so dragging may not work as expected. Can you try it in an Outline view?
Does clicking the collapse icon just not do anything? What if you use the hotkeys (Cmd + period or Ctrl + period)?

thanks for the quick reply. To answer your questions:

I’m using it on windows with the installed app, not in a browser
I have 2 panes open of the same document. On the left I have just the “Outline” view of the document, grouped by headings, headings not sorted and items sorted by priority. On the right I have a “List” view, grouped by date. The panes were already set up this way when it was still working.
Yes the collapse/expand icon doesn’t do anything at the moment. Same with hotkeys.
