Every once in a while, I write a sentence that seems to misbehave. For example, I wrote the following:
Radio Shack digital thermometer, missing outdoor sensor
If I try to go back and edit the word “outdoor”, weird things happen. Trying to add an extra “o” so that it’s “outdooor” instead puts the “o” at the beginning of the word, “ooutdoor”. It only happens with an “o”, not any other letter. I’ve had sentences a few times in the past that did similar things, the text going somewhere other than where the cursor was. It seemed specific to the particular sentence, i.e. combination of words, not to a specific instance of an item containing them. If you type the same words in another document, the same thing happens.
