Android client loses synchronization with app.legendapp.com.

Environment

Chromium v86 on PC using app.legendapp.com
Android client: the current newest version v5.0.6

NOT 100% reproducible on my side

Steps to repro:

Login Legend account in Android client, sync, and then close the app (kill the background).
Open app.legendapp.com in PC browser, make sure be Online, and archive Items A and B.
Login to the same account in another browser to make sure all changes have been synced to Legend server successfully.
Open the Android client, make sure be Online, wait for it to finish syncing automatically
Expected result: both Items A and B are archived successfully in Android client
Actual result: Item A is archived successfully, but Item B is still there, not archived.

Notes

This issue can be solved after logging out of the account in the Android client and then logging back in.
If this bug is difficult to fix, please offer at least one feature: Full sync from server - clear local cache, then full sync from server. Thanks.

Jay Thanks. I’ll post here once I find steps for 100% reproduction. The several times I’ve encountered this issue so far have all been after doing bunch of (like 15+) archiving or moving operation in the browser, so there’s bunch of changes to sync on the Android side.

When I just tested it with 2 Items, this issue often no longer happened.

IcyAssassin Ok, it should be fixed now in the beta versions of the desktop and mobile apps. On the bright side, it’s not a data loss problem - it’s actually that there’s too much data 😆 . Moving an item between documents copies it into the new document and marks the old one as “moved”. But that was not being handled by the sync receiver correctly so it was sometimes receiving the “moved” item and overwriting the new correct item in the local cache, so items were appearing to be hidden.

But of course we need to make sure the current system is stable for now 🙂. Please let me know if that solves it or if you see it happen again.
