I’m 100% certain you’ll never see a “commitment” to a roadmap from a software developer, but you might see an outdated roadmap.
That being said, I agree with you and Christophe on your points…..
Communication in general on the boards and marketing seems stalled. When was the last time a dev posted a Legend Forum acknowledgement/response? Similar to Christophe, I was about to invest in a lifetime Legend purchase, but the lack of feature development for so long makes me nervous.
Respectfully to those who use them and won’t like this suggestion, but Legend has too many ‘major features’ that should be trimmed back to make the core app easier to manage for it’s (obviously) small dev team. Things like browsing and email should never have been added until the core was stabile (which it now is) and the long list of ‘little things’ that are continually added were narrowed.
While it would be nice to see a ‘lane-type’ list of features and where they stand in priorities, I suspect we’ll never see that as it would take too much time to keep that type of info current and available to the public on a timely basis. The last blog “what’s new” was April.
