The documents panel is not “added” or “removed” like a pane is - it is a “pop out” panel ATTACHED to each pane on a board. So, if you’ve got more than one open, you’ll actually click within the pane to show it or hide it. It’s the same icon you used to show it, just click that icon again to close it.
