Hah! Yes, I think those are both features I requested long ago and use both regularly.
Show only matching tag blocks:
This allows you to search for a tag or multiple tags, and have shown only the specific tags you searched for.
Example: My chores list has items tags in multiple ways. #mainlevel , #plants, #livingroom, etc. Each task might have multiple tags. So, a search for #mainlevel will show me that tag block, but ALSO show the block for #plants, etc. Sometimes I want to eliminate the visual clutter and show ONLY the block I explicitly searched for.
Another way I use this feature is for project planning, getting an idea of what projects I might work on in what time frame. I use tags for my time frames. But projects might also have other tags. So the show only matching tag blocks lets me Create a view that is just those timeframes without being cluttered by the other tag blocks I don’t want to see at the moment.
