I’ve been trying to figure out why my Documents sometimes have dozens of blank lines inserted at the top. Today I spotted why.
Sometimes, pressing Ctrl on the keyboard seems to send a “return” keystroke to Legend. Evidently when I press Ctrl for a Ctrl+click on a filter, the document that Pane is pointed to receives the stray keystroke. It must happen when the focus isn’t someplace specific, because it always goes to the top of a document and few of my workflows involve adding directly to the top of docs. It might be after switching Boards or some other command that “nulls” the focus (BTW it’d be great if we could get away from that behavior, makes keyboard navigating difficult since there’s no way to re-establish focus without clicking).
I was able to capture video, sorry the first few seconds are me faffing around trying to get it to happen again. Sometimes it happens with the filters box open, other times not. In this case it initially happened with filters open, then when I started the video only worked with filters closed. In the video the only thing I’m doing is pressing Ctrl.
