In Gmail, I used the hotkey “m” with a single message open in order to save the message to Legend. It then saved my entire Inbox (about 50 messages) to Saved in Legend. So I went into Saved in Legend, selected all messages and selected “Remove from Saved” from the context menu. At first, it didn’t to appear to have done anything. After closing and reopening I saw that Saved was empty, but so was Inbox. Back in Gmail, it appears to have moved all my Inbox messages to the Trash. So now I have to go through thousands of messages in Trash to find those that were in my Inbox, and am worried that those older than 30 days have just been deleted forever.
Don’t think there is any way I can undo this, BUT the one takeway I have from this is that I feel you really need to priortize fixing bugs, especially the many issues with email (saving, addins, email filtering, all have bugs or are not working at all), before making so many big changes (mirrors, expanded filtering, etc.) that consume enormous amounts of development attention and introduce many more bugs.
