Last week I did some real digging for an Outliner application. Looked at probably 20 different apps and played arround with probably 5-6 different ones but nothing really clicked for me. Until I stumbled upon Legend. I love it.
I’ve been using Legend for four days now and been loving it. The more I use it, the more I learn. But tonight I ran into some real problems. I’m using the stable version of Windows and Android app.
I’m still using the free version as a trial before leaping into the paid sub. I was using the app on my main pc and on my phone, everything was working. I had to do some writing in the kitchen and logged onto my account on my Laptop for the first time and realised part of my notes weren’t synced. But only part? Seemed wierd. I picked up my phone and noticed the notes which had previously been showing on my phone was now gone there as well. I panicked and checked on my main pc where Legend was still open. Notes was still there. Tried doing manual backups on my main pc but nothing wanted to sync to my other devices. I backed up all my notes elsewhere, logged out from my phone and my laptop, did a manual sync and closed the application on my main pc. Imagine my surprise when I reopen the app on my main pc and the notes are gone there as well.
Restored the notes that were missing from my manual copy-pasta backup. Restarting the application, now even more notes are gone? What the.. Been to resolve this for half an hour now.
Anyone having some tips for this? Is this common? Feels real iffy losing notes, that absolutely cannot happen again.
And am I restricted to two devices? I’m reading the Free tier only has 1 plugin sync account. But I’m having trouble understanding what that entails.
