how to change completed to yesterday?

Sometimes I forget to mark tasks as complete on the same day but then when I do mark them complete the next day, there is no way to change the completed time to yesterday. Is this achievable or have I just not found the right way to do it?

Editing any dates aside from the “event” date (the ! tag) is not possible in any non-hacky way.

sytx99 I (and others) are very interested in this feature for the exact situation you describe.

I don’t think you can achieve this through the user interface. You could maybe set your computer’s clock back temporarily while you mark them complete, but it’s not really a great idea to mess with your computer’s clock. In theory, you could export the document, edit the date in the text file, then re-import it. But that’s probably not what you’re asking for.
