CSS / Style tweak - "back button" uses a different color

In both dark and light modes, the shade of grey used to draw the “back” button is not the same as the one used for all other Pane Toolbar buttons. It seems to be the same grey that is used for the “dimmed” collapse-all button when in List-type Panes. For a long time I thought my eyes were just tired, but I finally screencapped it and looked at the pixels to confirm I’m not going mad. It really is a lot dimmer.

It’s really hard to see, especially in Dark theme. I use this button a lot and especially since there’s no hotkey and the dang thing moves around with the filter text box…it’s a bit of a scavenger hunt!

On my Mac, in dark mode, in both the desktop and browser, the “back” button is exactly the same shade as all the other buttons:

Unless there’s nothing to go back to, then it’s dimmed:

On the other hand, the “forward” button is really hard to see.

Hm, it’s possible what I’m seeing is just an ‘unavailable’ back arrow, though I could swear I have clicked and gotten a result when it was dim. What determines whether there is “nothing to go back to”? I rarely re-launch the app so this implies that the view “history” is getting reset after some other event and I’m not realizing it. My back-arrows are all dim but I spent all last night fiddling with filters and Pane arrangements.

That ‘forward’ button comment was awfully tongue-in-cheek…are you in the UK? 😅

If you restart the desktop app for example, the back button has no history, and is dim. Or if you just click it enough times, you’ll be back where you started, and there’s nowhere to go but forward. Other than that, I can’t say.

I’m from Canada, which is sort of something between the UK and the US.

It’s also between the west side of Russia and the east side of Russia, depending which way around you go.

Man, I didn’t know the Canadian sense of humor was so dry…must be regional!

Legend generally gets restarted only when the computer does, every few days. But my “back history” is clearing out faster than that. I’ll have to watch more closely. Marking this thread on account of insufficient research.

How do you add the “solved” tag?

We get a lot of British TV shows in Canada. I blame Monty Python, and John Cleese in particular. Not for my sense of humour, I mean for pretty much everything. On the other hand, half the famous US comedians are actually Canadian.

The “Reply” button has a drop-down with “edit tags”. But I think you maybe have to be a mod to add ‘solved’.

When I first encountered Python it just blew my mind. I never did get it back.
