Google drive select image file -> show as image

Hi, when I select a google drive file which is an image, it is shown as a icon. Is it possible to show the actual image instead without having to click the icon? Also, I would expect the is:image filter to find the entry

There is an option under the settings to view an image file as an actual image. If you already have that on, then it sounds like a bug or a bigger issue that Jay would have to address.

I’m not sure about not being able to filter by image, unless it is looking for actual images, not just the links.

I think the settings is ‘show images inline’. I’ve set this to on, so I guess this is a bug then.

Eik I can confirm that I’m seeing the same issue (bug) – inline image not showing up even though the “show images inline” option is enabled.

In general, image support seems buggy. I’ve had a number of cases where trying to move/manipulate images leads to me having to refresh the app to input anything again. For me, image support is a big value add of Legend over other text-only outliners.

@Jay are there any improvements for image support coming in the short term?

Jeroen I don’t think sharing should be required to get them to load, but maybe there’s a setting in Drive that’s blocking it somehow. I’ll look into that.

And ahp I’ve been annoyed by some image issues recently too. I will prioritize fixing that soon.

I am new to Legend. I put all my projects in Legend. The images I added today are no longer visible:

Is this an error? Or am I doing something wrong?

I’ve set the “_Legend Files (Don’t delete)” folder in Google Drive to share with everyone.
Now my images are displayed. Is it correct that this folder should be shared?
