studgeek If an item has text like “<example> text” then the “<example>” doesn’t show up in the results of a Global Search for “text”.
studgeek Global Search results don’t show the portion of an item’s text that is in angled brackets. I’m guessing the search results text is not being escaped so the browser engine is treating it as an unrecognized tag. Screenshot below. Thanks!
Jerud I’m seeing this too, in Windows Desktop. You can basically “comment out” any portion of an item by enclosing it in <> I merged in the older, duplicate bug report for this same issue. It’s apparently been around for a while.
Jay This is fixed in the latest update. It was also affecting text rendering when the filter box was focused.
