Drag hotspot and cursor inconsistency

You can’t drag by initiating a drag on item text like you used to… not a big deal but want to be sure that was intended. So to drag you have to initiate from the left margin but the hotspot and cursor is inconsistent depending on whether there is a prefix (eg, with a checkbox, the cursor is a pointer but you can drag) or expand/collapse icon (can drag from that spot but drag hand is only shown if there is the icon there). Also you can drag from the empty space next to the second line of a 2-line item but no drag hand cursor is shown.

It as always been intended that you would drag from the left margin of an item. Where was it allowing you to drag from before?

But if you drag over the item text it selects the text? Were you doing something other than just a normal selection? You can test on the old design at https://app.legendapp.com/#demo=help if you want.

Sorry, my mistake. Maybe I was thinking of how it works on mobile. It’s fine the way it is. My only remaining suggestion on this is that the cursor should be a pointer finger or arrow rather than the drag hand when hovering directly over the collapser as it does when hovering over a prefix. Maybe there is enough room on either side of the collapser to show the drag hand on hover.
