It would be nice if dates would be colored so that they show RED, bold or with a brighter backgroudn when they are in the past vs. the normal color when the date points to the future.
This would help stand out old items when you are not looking them in a pane sorted or grouped by date.
POssibly even an option that would allow the user to customize color and font them according to aging:
1 week old - slightly red and bold
1 month old - bigger font and a yellow background with red letters
6 months old - even bigger font
