When zoomed at a non-default level in the Windows app, the Gmail preview pane may initially display the message properly then go white when changing focus to an outline pane, or it may display a white/black pattern when returning to the app and opening an email. Usually incrementing and then decrementing (or vice versa) the zoom level will correct it for the currently displayed message.
