From the dialog that appears when creating a Link or Mirror, by typing [[ or ((, Legend does not consistently offer the Document itself as a choice. The picker also sometimes doesn’t even show certain Documents at all when using text completion. This might be related to whether or not a Document link already exists. It also might be related to having an emoji in the Document name.
Example: I have two Documents I want to mirror into my Main Document. They are named in this fashion:
- <emoji> foo
- <emoji> foo-bar
I created my first Document Link without any trouble: I typed (( then “foo” and the picker updated correctly. I chose the document itself and successfully got a Mirror of <emoji> foo.
I then tried to create a mirror for the next Document, again typing (( then “foo” and the picker list includes both <emoji> foo and <emoji> foo-bar, but neither of them offer me the ability to link the Document itself. Then, If I type out “foo-bar”, I actually get a blank picker.
Same thing happens if i try to create a [[link instead.
