Split panes horizontally

Do you mean to split a pane down so that there’s two panes in a vertical column? It’s not currently possible but we could consider adding it. Can you tell me more about how you’d use it? You’d have to have panes with not a lot of content so that it all fits in a shorter pane? Or you just want more panes on screen even if you have to scroll them more?

Correct. Have one column have more than one pane stacked on each other.

Meaning, I would want more panes in one window. This allows for more views of the same content while keeping content on each pane short (personally, it allow me to have more focus on things at hand, in any context, etc).

Also, allows to drag/drop items more ergonomically. Since you have more options to panes to, for example, panes as items statuses in Kanban boards.

The time I most find myself wishing I could have two panes per column is a “this week” view where I could see each day at a glance. My daily notes/lists usually are not long - and it would be great to see each day in a single view without scrolling.
