I’ll give a second to this feature request! It would be great to have a way to quickly add selected text or a URL or other element to Legend (I’d vote for more than just text!). Other apps, such as Google Messages, Dynalist and Microsoft ToDo, have this feature on Android. You select the text and choose “Share” and then several options come up. The selected text is then added in the appropriate way to that app. For Messages, it is a new text message; for ToDo, it is a new todo item. It is harder for an outliner since there has to be a designated spot for it, but at least for Dynalist, there is a setting for an “inbox” where things like this are automatically placed.
I would imagine it would work the same way for Legend where there is a setting to select an inbox document (which wouldn’t have to be called “inbox”) where anything added via the “Share” option is added to. Then the user can later go and process it in anyway they need to. This would just be a way to quickly import items into Legend.
The current way I do this is highlight the item, copy it and then switch to the Legend app and go to my Inbox (I usually don’t try to navigate to specific places on the phone app) and paste it. Having the “Share” option would make this so much easier.
