Any help document or tutorial for Android client?

Asking because I’ve really no idea what the four colored squares in the upper right corner are for (and how to use them), and how to delete Documents on Android client, and how to find the Board we’ve set up on the desktop, and how to add or check Pane etc. Many questions if without document.

We are planning to redesign the iOS and Android apps pretty soon, so we’ll try to make it clearer and not require as much explanation. And we’re planning to add more features like full calendar support, a board switcher, etc… But adding a help page could be a good stopgap. For now I’ll just answer your questions:

The buttons in the top right are the filters, and they work the same as on desktop. You can toggle them to show only items matching the filters. The red check means that it is hiding completed items, and the 3 colored boxes to the right are to show only items of those priority levels.
The Android app doesn’t currently support deleting documents. You can do that from the desktop version.
In the desktop version you’ll see a board called “Mobile”. You can change/add/remove panes in that board, and the changes will be reflected in the board on the mobile app.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! It’s good to know what’s confusing for the redesign planning and for making a help document.

Hi Jay,

New user and was intrigued enough to just buy Lifetime. If I listed all the notes and task apps I use, you’d see most of the big names….Huge omnifocus user, dynalist Noteplan, nimbus, Obsidian, Monday (corporate). I keep up RTM because If I figure once I hit 20 years, I’ll get it for free ;-)

What would be huge for a transition like me are some in depth tutorials. I know. you’re still buiding but I’ve shot a note to SCO that they should look at at this but I’ve pay for private lessons. I want to use it more but I get limited.

houstonhli2 What kinds of tutorials are you looking for? More like a basic overview, how individual features work, or high level organization techniques and systems that work well in Legend?

Our top priority right now is revamping our help page with a reorganization as well as some images, gifs, and videos. We’re starting with introducing the basics better and filling out the feature descriptions, and adding more media so it’s not just a wall of text. Then we’ll go into how to set up common organization techniques and systems.

We’re focusing on the help page for the desktop version at the moment. The mobile redesign is coming up quite soon, and once that’s ready we’ll create better tutorials for that too 🙂.

I think your approach is good. I can usually determine the right way to do things but even a use case would be amazing. No being a former user of Moo.do but a 10-15 year RTM user and at least 5 on omni focus, yours the first app that seems to understand the concept of project based work. This means more than checklist but notes as I go and tasks after those notes. Files are nice but I use Hook on the Mac and it does an amazing job as well.

i appreciate your quick response. Nothing is urgent and trust me when i say I know limited resources to solve infinite quaqmiers. I work as an exec for a semi-large market resource firm as their head of pricing but 90% of what I do is focused on getting new pricing models into our systems and then out to customers.
