I’ve been following legend for a while since it was moo.do but never could jump in whole heartedly. It has always been a little buggy and frustrating sometimes. It’s an awesome tool and has gotten alot better over the years.
The first reason I ever tried moo.do was because of mirroring nodes. This was an amazing feature but as I said a little buggy. As soon as workflowy came out with mirrors I left, because say what you want about the lacking feature set of workflowy, I’ve had trouble breaking that damn thing.
Anyway, after years and thousands of bullets I can’t just copy paste and transition back to legend as the mirrored nodes and even classic links back to the document are proprietary. This means that’s I’m locked in.
I have no idea how or if it’s even possible to combat this as I know the bullet ID’s are proprietary info and not really calculable as far I as can tell.
Maybe some sort of logic that says if it notices that if a node is has exactly the same children then it’s a possible mirror. A little manual work wouldn’t hurt if the UI gave me a sort of gitty cherry-pick situation.
I have no motivation to switch back even though I would love to because of this hurdle. Only thing that would make switch at this point would be the introduction of a public api.
Anyway thought I would share this as I couldn’t find it mentioned in the forum.
