New sync system

I’ve never been able to reproduce that white screen, but I’ve heard about it and desperately want to fix it. Are you both on iOS? I’ve never seen it on Android but maybe I need to test on iOS more often as it might be something specific there?

Jay Yes, iOS.

I’m on an iPhone 13 right now, but it happened on my previous phone, which was an 8. I generally keep iOS system software current.

After weeks of no sync issues, I’m now having sychronization issues between boards.

My Mobile board is showing different items from my ‘main’ board while looking at the same list items. I’d been working in Window Legend (in my Main board) for the afternoon, then went to look at the same list on my iPad/iPhone (the mobile board), and neither shows any of the changes in items that I’d made all day.

If I look at Windows Legend, the Mobile board shows the same as the iPhone/iPad (stale data) and the Main board is updated.

It appears that the Mobile board broke at some point and didn’t not update with all the changes I made today from windows. I have force-quit Legend on both iphone and ipad, and restarted them. All devices are using the newest Legend stabile release version.

I can add items to the iPhone and they will appear in both the Windows ‘main’ and mobile boards, even thought the rest of the items in the mobile board do not match the main board.
I can add items to the Windows main board and they will appear in the windows mobile and iphone even though the rest of the items in the main board do not match the mobile board.

Now I’m afraid that something will suddenly start synching and they will overwrite each other with a mix of stale and current items.

It sounds like the pane in the Mobile board might just be filtered in a way that’s hiding the new items? Can you try clearing the filters? You can do that on either iPhone/iPad or desktop - the board state syncs between them.

You are correct! I hadn’t even realized that a filter had been activated….it looks like when I started using Task Items, I somehow got into a mode of “show only incomplete tasks” (the Red Checkbox filter).
Thanks for catching my mistake! Whew…..I’m very glad that the sync wasn’t the issue!

Along the filter lines: Clicking the X icon in the filter clears text AND brings up the filter options. Clicking RESET clears out text and every status selection EXCEPT the Complete ‘flag’, which it sets to Red.
Seems a bit inconsistent: Should RESET change EVERY one of the filters to ‘off’ by it’s very name?

May I please congratulate the Legend crew: I accidentally erased some important info. And with the options/version history I could exactly restore the missing hunk. That went so smooth. Thanks, crew!
