Cursor position synchronization

While having the iPhone and Windows Legend app open, typing in one instance causes changes to be made in the other (almost) instantly as they synchronize the item’s contents.

However, the cursor position does not synchronize. If you are jumping back and forth between multiple instances, it seems natural to assume that the cursor position would synchronize as well as everything else within a Board.

If there are those that prefer the cursor not to synchronize position, perhaps this could be added as a global Preference settings for users to decide which way they would like to work for all instances.

Do you mean the typing cursor? So that if you were typing in the Windows app and then switch to the iPhone app, the keyboard would be open to the same position?

Is this a common feature in other apps? I don’t think I’ve seen it before?

I’m not sure how it would work with different boards though - if the item being edited in the Windows app isn’t currently visible in the iPhone app what would happen?

Yes, the typing cursor.
The keyboard wouldn’t necessarily be open, but the cursor, if the keyboard were opened, could appear in the same position.

Not sure it would need to affect different boards. The idea was….

If you’re in a board and you cause the cursor to be visible (by typing), the that same board in other instances should move the cursor’s current keyboard position to the same location after synching If that instances cursor is visible or made to be visible.

Just a thought.
