Mobile - constantly asking me to sign into Gmail

On Mobile, the black bar across the bottom asking me to sign into my Gmail account is ALWAYS there. It doesn’t matter if I follow the process to sign in - it imediatly reappears.

How do I fix this / stop this?

I had attempted to fix this in the latest update and it went away on my account. Is it still happening for you after yesterday’s update?

Jay My iphone app shows ver 7.0.5 - and I’m still seeing the sign in prompt. Is that the most recent version?
