Hey Jorge -
I think the behavior you are seeing is actually CORRECT (though confusing).
The LIST view shows all the items with the tag you are searching for (but as a flat list). It sounds like you want to see those tagged items, but with their parent project. So you (understandably) click on “Group by Project” and the list now goes blank.
What’s happening, is that the OUTLINE search feature of Legend is getting in your way. When you group by project, the default is to look for projects ONLY at the current, top level, zoom level of your outline. If the projects containing the tasks you want are burried a bit further in the hierarchy - this filter will not show them.
The solution is a slightly hidden toggle…
Once you’ve grouped by project (and your list is blank) - click in the filter box, and in the dropdown, look for the “Option - Projects anywhere in the hierarchy” toggle. Turn that on, and You should then see the results you are expecting.
One other possible weirdness with this - group by project will show ONLY projects (and their subs). So if items with the tag you are searching for happen to be under a HEADING instead of a project, they won’t show in this view either.
These filter options are incredibly powerful (and I like the way they limit things) but that means they can also be kind of confusing.
