Agenda Panes show no items under headings

This started right after an update around 7 October.
Agenda Panes show the appropriate headings (“overdue”, “today”, “tomorrow”, etc.) and the headings indicate how many items should be under them – but there are no items shown at all.

Mentioned also in this thread, but I split it out since it’s not really the same bug as that. That bug might actually be fixed…but I can’t tell because of this one…

This breaks Agenda Panes entirely, as they are pretty useless without any items in them. I’m surprised nobody else has seen it…is it just me?
May be related to mirrors, since most of my task lists are populated by mirroring…a feature that I am increasingly wishing I had just ignored when it came out. Legend is (once again) reduced to being little more than an outliner when major features like the Agenda Pane don’t work.

Is this happening in all Agenda panes? I can’t figure out how to reproduce it.

My headings (tags, important, overdue, and dates) - are working as expected.
I tested adding several mirrored items; including mirrors from other documents - and the headings are still showing tasks as expected for me…

I’m sorry your seeing that bug though Jerud! I know what you mean - when your whole life is in legend and things don’t work as expected it’s very disruptive!

Ok, now mine is broken too. The dates themselves aren’t showing items.

The heading shows there should be items there - but the text is not displaying. In my case; it seems to be events from Google Calendar being ignored.

I just reproduced it with missing Calendar events - thanks LauraH! I’ll fix it and get a fix out shortly.

Jay I think it’s fixed for me. It was happening in all Agenda Panes everywhere and I just made one that’s working properly. I had to blow away the one that wasn’t working so I could put something else in its place temporarily. It probably is the case that I had only Gcal events, since I almost never schedule something without syncing it and obviously if it isn’t scheduled, it won’t show up in Agenda Panes ; )

I’ll reopen this thread if it comes up again.

@Jay Nope, this isn’t quite fixed. I’m looking at an Agenda Pane in my Mobile Board in both windows desktop and on mobile (beta=ON). They appear correctly synced because when I expand/collapse on one, the change appears immediately on the other.

On desktop, the Agenda Pane seems correct, /except/ the “Overdue” heading reports 6 items that should be in it, but actually only displays 5. I overlooked this yesterday.

On mobile, the very same Agenda Pane looks like it did before your last fix: the headers show a correct “count” but have no actual contents. There is a single exception, where “Today” (currently) shows a count of 3 and does display a single item.

These should all be Gcal-synced events. I have NO calendar filter active (all calendars are checked) in the Pane definition.

Jerud The update with those fixes didn’t get out to mobile yet. I’ll try to get a mobile update out shortly.

But for the one missing overdue item, is there anything special about it? Is it a repeat date or is it saved into a different document, or something else?

Oh, didn’t realize that about the mobile update.

When I view the same Mobile Board Agenda Pane on desktop, Events are appearing as expected…except mirrors. My Overdue heading count is +1 when completes are hidden (which also hides the mirrors), but it’s correct when showing completes (which makes the mirrors appear). At this point there is just one mirrored set of two, so perhaps counting the instances separately instead of as a set accounts for this – even though none of them are actually visible at the time that the tally is off.

Jerud I think this should be fixed by the filtering updates in the latest desktop beta. Can you check that again and let me know? If it’s still broken I’ll check into it some more.

Not quite. I’m seeing this in my live Boards; my sandbox isn’t set up to monitor it. The mirrors I was seeing in my Agenda from the last post got completed and are gone (they had been overdue so don’t appear regardless of complete filter). There is one other place in my Agenda containing mirrored items and that is the only place in the Pane where the group count is incorrect vs. the displayed items.

The above group shows a tally of 4 but displays only 3 items (two of which are instances of a mirror). The ‘completes’ filter is off in the screenshot. If I hide completes, the second instance disappears (even though it’s not complete) and the group tally changes to 3 – still incorrect but it did update at least. The instance which shows/hides with the filter is probably /not/ the original item (but in this case I can’t be certain).
