I just remembered a feature request someone else made that might make sense to “roll up” into this new-filtering-system change. I can’t find the post, though : (
The idea was to have “expand to X indent level” the way you can do with Grouped Rows in MS Excel (and other apps). You click a little “3” at the top, and the whole outline adjusts its expand-state to the 3rd indent level.
This could be approximated with a “heading level” filter. If we had filters for <h1> <h2> <h3> etc., they could be used to create this kind of result, albeit via a filter rather than a dedicated control. Maybe not 100% what the original user requested (it would only impact Headings, not all items)…but closer.
How about it? Could we get <h1> <h2> etc. filters – even just in the ‘advanced’ syntax?
