While you’re worrying on the collapse functionality, it would be great if you would apply the “Collapse matches of filters” option (when enabeld) when setting any filter (status, type, contains, date) not just text. I personally would prefer it to expand parents to reveal matches of filters as well, as it does when entering text in the filter.
