Jay I’m sure something has changed very recently. There’s a post I’ve updated a couple of times since October, the last time was two weeks ago. Now I can’t edit it anymore. There are no new replies or posts in the thread since October, and nobody ever directly replied to it.
I think if you’re using the forum largely for bug-tracking, rather than social discussion, it’s important to be able to go back and update or correct information in the bug reports. Like on Github, you can always edit your posts, even if someone replied already.
I’m usually careful to strike things instead of delete, and to mark where I’ve made edits or added new material - maybe there could be a sticky post for that kind of etiquette? But actually I don’t think it’s that big of a deal here.
