Legend.exe Windows desktop app freezing and closing

I uninstalled the previous version and installed the one you linked. I’m not sure why, by I don’t seem to be able to add my Outlook.com or M365 email accounts. I sign into the Outlook.com or M365 account, it takes me to my mailbox in the pop up window, then I click out of the popup to dismiss it and return to the email settings tab in Legend, but the just-added account isn’t listed. I tried a few times setting it up as “Personal” then again with “M365” to be sure that I wasn’t causing this by having selected the wrong one.

I removed the urgent tag since it’s clear that the Windows desktop app is working fine. I’m not sure how important Outlook integration is for others, but I wouldn’t call it an emergency myself.

scaryterry Version 2.0.10 should fix the Outlook integration. Please let me know if it’s working ok for you now.

I’ve got that fixed, but my upload speed is very slow right now… Fix should be released soon…

I tried again after updating to 2.0.10 but nothing has changed on my end. I still can’t add an Outlook account.

I think my issue is similar to what is described in this thread: https://forum.legendapp.com/d/392-outlook-365-problem-adding. I’m OK with circling back to the present thread once the Outlook integration is sorted out.

Looks like 2.0.10 didn’t quite fix it. I was a bit hasty releasing it - it was working in development but not production. It’s working for me now in 2.0.11: https://legendapp.com/download/

I’ve updated to version 2.0.11 but I’m still not able to link an Outlook account to Legend. I wish it were otherwise, but I’m in the same spot I was with version 2.0.9 and 2.0.10.

Not sure if this matters, but I use 2FA for my Outlook accounts. In my case, I get a notification on my Android phone’s Microsoft Authenticator app when I sign myself into anything using my Microsoft (Outlook) account. Do the users that have linked their accounts successfully have this set up too?

Oh sorry I misunderstood - if it was not working previously this would not fix it. It had broken for everybody it was currently working for 😱

I’m working on a new approach to email integration that should fix it for good, which will hopefully be ready to start testing within the next month or so (will also be focusing on general stability and mobile improvements).

I am having the same issue … but not just for my Outlook account, but also my Gmail accounts. I am not seeing any difference after installing 2.0.11. The experience that @scaryterry is having is the same as what I am having. FYI Jay

We just released version 2.0.12 which fixes a Windows-only bug, so it should be working now. ChrisJ. I’m not sure if it will fix it for you @scaryterry if it wasn’t working before in 2.0.8, but it’s worth a try 🙂
