I’d like to clarify that there IS value to the current grey “priority” behavior: it differentiates between children which are themselves complete (gets a bar) vs. those which have “inherited” complete-status from an ancestor (no bar but still grey item-text).
This is the ONLY way, short of temporarily toggling complete-state on parents, to discern that difference. Given that an inherited complete status can sometimes creat hard-to-explain filter results, I think we need some way to do this.
What I do sometimes wish is that I could see the priority of completed items, since that is preserved but the grey complete “priority” overlaps it. But that shortcoming doesn’t break any critical workflows for me, just slows down some troubleshooting tasks.
