Jay I fixed the List views in the latest update
This almost works. I see mirror-Headings if I use “anywhere in hierarchy” but with that option off I don’t see mirror-Headings even though they are located at root and are H1.
Should “anywhere in hierarchy” be changed to something like: “H1/P1 only” ? That might be more descriptive and explicit. It’s the inverse of the current button, so it could be OFF by default, which makes more sense for an “option”.
BTW there is another quirk of GB Heading/Project Panes which doesn’t (can’t) happen in the other GB Types: Groups with 0 items in them (i.e. non-parent Heading/Project items) can’t be collapsed either with the “expander” >
or with the “collapse all” button.
Jay using the right size in context rather than their original size.
The fix works correctly (in my opinion) in my test document, will watch for it in my live docs. To be clear: This means that mirrored instances that are Headings resize according to their indent position in that instance’s Outline regardless of the size of any other instances. Projects do not do this. I really love it…I hope it’s working out for others, too.
In the process of testing this, however, I found a different bug in my test document (sorry). It might not be new – but I haven’t seen it before:
Root Parent which is the first item in the Outline, and mirrored elsewhere within the same Document.
When I “expand all”, the Pane contents all expand correctly.
When I “collapse all”, that first Parent does not collapse (the rest of the outline does, including its mirror – even if that’s the very next item in the Outline).
